Boise Young Professionals (BYP) holds an annual event to raise funds for its programs and services and a local nonprofit organization. The Idaho Humane Society was selected by members as the 2008 Charity of Choice and this year’s theme is “The Great BYP Gatsby Gala.”
In 2007, over $16,000 was raised for Wishing Star Foundation, as more than 200 young professionals attended the first annual fundraiser, “Casino Royale”. The funds raised were used to grant wishes to local children with life-threatening illnesses.
Michael Hummel-Realtor & Suzi Boyle-Mortgage banker have again donated a $ 4800 trip to Maui to be included in the live auction.
Proceeds go to the Idaho Humane Society & Boise Young Professionals

“Lounging Series” events provide a question/answer forum, giving young professionals exposure to decision makers and community leaders. These events are held at a swanky, hip and trendy location in downtown Boise and provide a great atmosphere for networking with local young professionals and learning from influential leaders in the Boise metro region.
