Mayor Bieter "Unplugged" - December 7, 2006
On Thursday, December 7 BYP hosted an open forum for discussion with Boise's Mayor Dave Bieter. To read and post comments about this event, please visit the BYP Blog.
The event was held at the Visual Arts Collective (VaC) -1419 W. Grove St, Boise) from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Doors opened at 4:30 and the speaking event began at 5:00. Immediately following the event, all guests were invited to enjoy fodnue, appetizers, and drinks during a special reception hosted by Spontaneous Productions. Guests were able to mingle with over 200 YPs, view local artwork at the VaC, and attend First Thursday in downtown Boise. Lush (a lounge), a new night-life spot located at 760 Main Street in downtown Boise, was the featured sponsor of the event.
This event was FREE to all BYP members and $15 for non-members. A sell out crowd of 225 people attended the event.

BYP Kick-off event a success!
Boise Young Professionals, which boasts the tag line “connect. empower. engage.,” had their kick-off event on Tuesday, October 24th from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. The event featured noted author and business leader, Steven M.R. Covey, who highlighted his recent book, The Speed of Trust. Covey addressed the audience at The Egyptian Theatre and discussed the importance of trust in any organization. Immediately following the speaking engagement, Covey joined a few hundred YPs for a reception at The Rose Room.
